A co-op action roguelite in chunky pixel art, played in the browser. A rotating 2.5D world, a moonlit hub to come home to, and a long road of lives.
A kingdom broke, and its morning never came. What is left is the Wayrest, one lamplit plaza holding back the dark, and the rifts that open around it. You are an adventurer who will not stay dead. Each life gets a little further, and every life is remembered.

Read the pattern, find the gap, answer with everything you have. Ever Ruin plays fast and sharp, and the camera turns so you can see around every pillar.

Every journey starts in the same place: a ring of cobbles around the Moonwell, where a marble koi leaps from a marble wave. Four Moonlanterns burn moon-blue at its corners, shallow pools hold the stars, and doves land wherever you are not walking.

From the Hollow Grove to the Cathedral of the Hollow Sky, each rift is its own place with its own rules and a guardian at its heart. Win and the rift remembers; the next door opens.

North of the Moonwell stands a portal that does not look trustworthy, and is not. Through it lies an open world of eight biomes, from the ash of Cinderreach to the willows of Moonfen, with wildlife, waystones and wandering guardians.
Fourteen echoes, each with three forms. Feed them the dish they love, bond with them, hold the Bonding Rite at level five and Awaken them at ten. A Kindling becomes an Emberhorn and, one day, a Furnace Ram.

At the end of the red carpet in the Storied Hall waits a portal to a castle that is entirely yours. Start with a turret and a hearth; build up to the Everspire Sanctum, with wings, rooms, grounds and a great deal of decor.

Ansel Weir will sell you a rod and write your catches in his Ledger: ninety species, each with its own weather and hour. Sorrel Ladlebright will cook whatever you bring her, as long as you do the stirring.
